Boo-freakin-yah. Breezy and cooler tonight, so this felt so good! Nothing like having a deadline to get your butt moving - I chatted too long with some other moms before heading out and realized I had to get my ass in gear if I was going to make my planned route and get back in time to pick up my kid! Thought about cutting it short instead, but ya know? I want to get faster, so this is good practice, lol. Awesome run tonight, felt great!

    Being short on time is a great incentive to run a fast run! It makes one feel much better to run the distance fast and strong than to have cut the distance short! Nicely done, Marina! :)

    Funny, I wondered why this didn't feel so hard. I actually checked the distance 3 times, thinking I must be off. I think you're right - sloggin' in the heat makes running in the non-heat WAY easier. :)

    Was thinkin' of you the other day, Sam - thinking maybe I should give the 10/1 method a try since it worked so well for your first 1/2. You've done both ways, now - would you do 10 and 1s again?

    I might. The 10's/1's was a game time decision so if I do it again that'll probably be the case. I'm doing two halves this fall, I may do one each way and see how that goes.
