Very ugly run. Huge lesson learned. I had MCL sprain/tendonitis from my last 4-miler back on Wednesday. Rested Thursday, Friday, Saturday. But didn't really do any strengthening workout ----> BAD. I was also feeling fatigued, under the weather, so I did not do anything.

Thought that running Sunday at 11:30am would be better. No. it was not. Never got into a rhythm. Stayed slow as molasses. Had zero energy. I kept thinking I could shake it off after another mile. But it never went away. Perhaps I needed a meal at that point? Maybe. I fueled with Fig Newtons (which my stomach didn't mind after 8 miles = awesome).

The other BAD thing I did was I consciously tried to change my gait, thinking that would take care of my MCL tendonitis. Wrong! It made my entire right thigh/ITB sore and achy....

The run went from BAD to WORST and I ended up walking the last 2 miles home. In tears, on the cell phone with my husband. Feeling like I don't want to run anymore. So sick and tired of getting injury after injury.

I let myself wallow in my misery all Sunday. Very ugly. :(
