Maintaining a 10 min pace was a lot easier after this past weekend's runs.

  6. RUN
    RiverRat W2D4 6 mi 00:59 09:50 pace

Really had wanted to take this slower than last run. I didn't bring the right clothes for this warmth so it was a hot and thirsty run.

  7. RUN
    RiverRat W2D3 4 mi 00:37 09:12 pace

Ran 5k in 28:22. Such a goregous day I just felt like pushing it. And then when I wanted to back off the pace I couldn't. Felt cathartic - lungs hurt but in a good way. A little heartburn ... read more

I have done that! Push the pace and can't back off. It's good for the soul a spontaneous hard run like this!

Negative splits on this first mile 11min; last mile 10:15 (ran alone first mile then with neighbor for other 3). Over dressed this morning and felt heavy and hot. BUT it beats the treadmill.

Class went well... forgot my shoes (wore boots) but could do the workout barefoot. Think I can up my weight for my arms and probably the warm up and legs. May have twinged my groin... not sure...
