      I don't think recovering from illness has a damned thing to do with mental toughness! In fact, I think that the fact that you got out there and get it shows what a badass you are. I can't wait to see you, and celebrate over a run and perhaps some adult beverage too.

      Alllll the Stars have to align for a marathon PR - very, very hard to have happen when so many of them are beyond our immediate control. You ran a tough race and finished with a solid time - be proud of that!! Nice work out there!!!

    Garmin was dead this morning so I ran my Wednesday 5 mile loop. Have no idea about time or pace, whatsoever. Odd but liberating feeling.

      May not seem like a strong run but that's a great pace and I guarantee that will pay off! Never worth it to me to spare the shoes if it gets your feet. Learned that one the hard way. Good, hard work today!
