      I have done that! Push the pace and can't back off. It's good for the soul a spontaneous hard run like this!

      It's a marathon, half marathon, and 15mile bike race in Yankton, South Dakota. About 5 hours from DSM - race is on April 25th - another state to race in:)

    Increased warm up weight to 5lb each end and 2.5+5 on squats and back - kept bi, tri at 5.

    Negative splits on this first mile 11min; last mile 10:15 (ran alone first mile then with neighbor for other 3). Over dressed this morning and felt heavy and hot. BUT it beats the treadmill.

    Class went well... forgot my shoes (wore boots) but could do the workout barefoot. Think I can up my weight for my arms and probably the warm up and legs. May have twinged my groin... not sure...

    Treadmill run. No better way to start the year but by training for the next race - a half marathon in Yankton, SD. Ross will be doing the 15 mile bike race while I'm running.
