Lunges, pushes, plank then the lower loop of the park. I think I join the Army.

The only thing more "fun" than doing those exercises in public is doing those exercises in public and having your coach post them on the Internet for the world to see! :) You look strong and happy, though!

blah 3 Bridges 20.63 mi 03:43 10:48 pace
Mile 11-15 were rough and I was ready to quit. I regrouped and was able to run the last five. My time doesn't include the time at the water station. I feel like crap now.
-
Margaret great job today ! You will be able to draw on your experience of not quitting when the big day comes ! You will look back and feel todays run is what got you over the top ! Way to go !!

Thank you everyone for the support. Elizabeth I have had everything you said.. injuries, blisters, stomach. I keep dreaming that the marathon is easier then the training.

Speaking of dreams...A friend of mine ran the Detroit Free Press Marathon on Sunday. Her dream was that the race was an obstacle course filled with "challenges" - one of them was performing a dance of choice. Hers was from Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video.

alright 5Bridges 15.7 mi 02:50 10:49 pace
I do not recommend Brian's 5 bridges run after you have been fasting for 24 hours the day before. My quads were hurting and tight from mile 7 onward. I did not like the Manhattan Bridge runni... read more

Yikes - I'm a bit nervous about the bridges and hills. Any suggestions?

See Brian's tip on running the hills. If you haven't I would add some hills to the training to get some exposure. And remember when you make it to the top of the hill there is a downhill :).

alright R2R -- Central Park 6 mi 01:04 10:40 pace
Not my best...I was hurting...frustrated that 6 miles seemed tough after running 18 miles.
-
I hate when that happens! What a difference a day can make - your next run will likely be much better :) You got the miles in - that's what counts! Nice job.

Sounds like an adjustment day - your body's fixing itself up after the high mileage weeks and Saturday's race, so it can't give you 100% tonight. I'm sure you'll be back at it tomorrow!

Thank you...the 18 miler was two weeks ago and then my body hit a wall and I didn't run much. It wasn't my breathing...it was my muscles. I look forward to meeting everyone.

Pulled something in my thigh getting there, but surprisingly felt better running then walking or standing still. Now icing.

good R2R Little Red Lighthouse Run 17 mi 03:05 10:52 pace
Rough in the beginning again better by mile 5-6. Not as bad though as the biker collision Jeff and I saw. THanks for the suppost Jeff, Ali and Liz. I ran home to get to 17.

good R2R Thursday run 7 mi 01:08 09:42 pace
Don't ask me how I feel between mile 2.5-4. Better to ask me on mile 4.5-6. My pace picked up to a 9 min/mile. I must have felt good because I ran home and tacked on an extra mile.
