Tempo run on the treadmill after I arrived in North Carolina. Pretty late too, about 930 pm

  2. RUN
great Lovers Point 12 mi 01:48 08:58 pace

Was going to do a smooth 10, opted for 12. Felt awesome.

  3. RUN
    great 6.87 mi 00:55 07:57 pace

My run to the Harbor Seals. My god, I'm going to miss California . . .

Hey Marcus. Good to see you back at it at breakneck speed. Where are you going to?

Moving to North Carolina, :-( The good news is that I'm going to have a great job, bad news is that the area really kind of sucks for training. I'll be one of those dudes running up and down parking garages :-)

  4. RUN
    great 5.5 mi

Run around the neighborhood. No, I'm not dead :-) Just took a break for a bit. http://goo.gl/bRN8B

  5. RUN
    great 3.19 mi 00:29 09:04 pace

Barefoot on grass as a recovery run.

  6. RUN
    great 6 mi

Run around the neighborhood with the mutt; felt great, no idea how fast because it was watchless, but Jeff the super-dog was smoked, so I'm guessing 730 ish pace.

  7. RUN
    great 4.25 mi 00:40 09:24 pace

Just a mellow recovery run on the mill. Just to get back into the swing of things. . .

  8. RUN
    great 6 mi 00:47 07:49 pace

Nice even paced run with a slow cooldown mile factored in. I'm happy with it.

  9. RUN
    blah 13.9 mi 02:00 08:37 pace

Eh. That kind of felt like shit. But after a weekend that included an epic win by the Niners, for which I was present, I don't really care :-)

Run those empty calories off! What time did you run? It's only almost 6 a.m. (central time) and you posted 5 hrs ago!? I couldn't do it. Way to get a million miles in!

Absolutely we all go through the funk. Mine is usually after a long race for a bit. It is hard for me to get back on schedule sometimes. What's your next goal race? If I plan a race it tends to get me back on schedule. Hang in there!

Great miles Marcus. Yeah, I'm getting a lot of these 'off' runs of late. I figure they can't all be great and it's still better than not running.

  10. RUN
    great 6 mi

    7 Yasso 800's at 645 pace.

  11. RUN
    great 13.1 mi 01:48 08:14 pace

Pretty happy with this. Last mile was a cooldown at 11 min/mile so the majority was at my marathon goal pace of 8 min or below.

  12. RUN
    great 5 mi

Tempo on the treadmill, maxing at 1.5 miles at 6:45 pace
