Very long run that was somewhat hot for the most part. (Not heatwave hot, just normal hot and humid.) I was doing great until the fifteen mile mark and my legs started hurting. The last 5.5 weren't as fun as the first 15. LOL! Thanks to running friend Ryan and his wife, Amber, who joined me for the first 4.5.

I experimented with some different fueling strategies for my upcoming race. One was great, and the jury is still out on the other one. I'll have to try it again to see how beneficial it is as a fuel source for ultras. It did come highly recommended by a certified running god.
