So I went to the sports doctor today and glad I did. I learn something new the longer I run. I strained a muscle from doing lunges and getting up too quickly from the position. He also notified me my lower spine is slightly curved to the left...took 42 years for someone to notice? Anyway, he used some kind of contraption to deep massage the area and showed me some stretches. Also recommended foot strength exercises. I don't have plantar, I have a heel spur.

End result? Wait a couple more days, do the stretches every day, and then do short but fast gaits for only 1-1.5 miles at first to see how the leg feels afterwards. My gait is not bad but he said to shorten it to ease the strain on the muscle so I can still have some cardio to keep fitness level up. Here's hoping!
