My intent was to take it easy on my legs today since they made me proud the last 2 runs but it seems they have a mind of their own now. I tried to stay around 9-9:15 but the last half mile of each mile my legs started turning over faster so I let them have some fun. :)
Lap 1 warm-up: 9:31
Lap 2: avg 9:04
Lap 3: avg 9:07
Lap 4: avg 9:41 (walked down a steep hill, I only risk injuries in a race...)
Lap 5: avg 9:06
Lap 6: avg 9:04
Lap 7: avg 9:35 (walked the first tenth to try and make my legs want to slow down, didn't work...)
Very happy with my running so far this week. Taking tomorrow off to rest the muscles for a fartlek run Friday and long run Saturday.
