I think this is one of my best 7 mile training runs. I wasn't meaning on going for any certain pace just to try and stay under 9 and concentrate on my stride. I find the shorter my stride the faster I can turnover my legs and my speed seems a little easier to maintain.
Mile warm up @ 9:30, miles 2-6 between 8:30-8:55, mile 7 cooldown around 9:30.


Great job, Jennifer. Shorter stride also helps prevent injuries. I'm working on that.

yeah, it's something I'm working on. I also find it more comfortable running with shorter strides. I'll only stretch it out if in a full out sprint towards the finish line in a race now.

I don't leave home without it. ;) If I don't wear one I run too fast and poop out too fast so I really need it to maintain pace. I already have distance marked out in my head from running around here so much.
