    Surprise: timed 500. Not a surprise: after five years out of the water, I'm slower than I think I have ever been in my life. But damn if it wasn't fun. Somewhere to start, anyway.

    New fad. Jogging or yogging. Might be a soft j, I don't know. I'm not sure but apparently you just run for extended periods of time. It's supposed to be wild.

    First time training in open water and first time in a wetsuit! Lots of instruction; distance was light (and estimated). Weeds got my heart pounding much harder than the swim did.
