I say that I hate running on the dreadmill, but I always work harder. Did 90/30 run/walk intervals- finished up with an interval at 6.5. I felt part Kenyan ;)

Everyone keeps telling me that if I run through the summer, running will be easy/fast in the fall. It doesn't make me any less of a Grumpy Cat about the heat and humidity, though, since the treadmill is even worse (to me). Great run today, and good luck tomorrow!

I am photosensitive. A little heat sensitive, but mainly it's solar. I have it year round. It's why you'll never see me in a pair of shorts. That and no one really wants to see me in a pair of shorts ;) I'm not happy, but I'm thankful- well, not even that; it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who struggles with it. I've been getting up at 5am to run with Lauren and Kristen. Woo Hoo.

Nice ~ great way to get started! I keep getting injured so I typically do a run 1 mile - walk 1 mile interval, even for my half marathons. I hate it, but it gets me through ;-) Keep it up girlie!

Good job! I've grown to enjoy the treadmill because I can push myself as far as speed and running further with no walking ~ easier than I can outside, espec. with this humidity, yuck!

You don't know stinking humidity until you've run in Alabama! The "feels like" at 5am was 84- with 84% humidity. Ugh.
