First of all let me send out a big thanks for all the dm messages in reference to Lynn who lost her husband due to a drunk driver. I talked to her today. She said the Navy was taking care of everything for her. Several of his ship-man will escort his body home on Friday. She sounded better than she did Sunday but ofcourse still can't get her mind around the fact that he was taken by a drunk driver in a land he protected. Such a tough heart warming story.
Anyway, I started my first physical therapy session this morning, felt like I may be on the mend. Xrays showed some bone growth/healing today! So for now no bone stimulator and/or rod! Although he told me not to get to excited I couldn't help it. My husband has been out of town, (this week and next) so it's hard to the gym for elliptical or cycling right now
The PT told me to get back on the planks. I haven't done any in several weeks. So I guess the streak will start again. Either way today just felt nice to feel productive! Enjoy your day everyone. )

Good work on the PT, mine used planks for punishment when I would lose my balance during balance drills.

Good work, Maggie. Sorry to read about Lynn. People just don't understand...you don't just take your own life in your hands when you drive impaired. How sad...

I hope all goes well with PT. I understand what you are dealing with. I've had my share of PT sessions the last couple of years. It's the necessary evil to help get us back into running.
