It's lower back. I definitely didn't do any planks today afterwards. We'll see what happens tomorrow morning. The hardest part might be getting down to the floor and then getting up afterwards. Putting on shoes and socks after the run today was a challenge.

Of course you miss your runs! I'm frustrated for you! I'm sure piriformis is part of it, but it doesn't generally affect you when walking. Usually back issues will affect your walking. Sounds like the sciatic nerve may be aggravated. Piriformis pain is right in the middle of the butt. If it continues, it might be good to see a chiropractor...best to know exactly what you're dealing with.

Sorry to read this Dave. There are so many seasons in running (I don't mean Summer, Winter, Spring and Fall either). Take this season of rest and you'll be back in no time. Trust the body when it's talking to you. Hope you're back out there soon.
