  12. RUN
great Horse Creek Road and Cochrane... 30 km 03:27 11:07 pace

Felt strong today. Footing was a little iffy but it was great watching the icebergs floating down the Bow. Only 13 weeks to the Calgary Marathon 150 km ultra. The Captain must be ready!

  13. RUN
great Cochrane Pathways 8 km 00:57 11:25 pace

Today, I ran like a "finely tuned machine". Other than the pain in my left knee and hip, blister on my right foot, dehydrated and out of breath, I was a "finely tuned machine".

  14. RUN
tired Cochrane Pathways 20 km 02:28 11:54 pace

Lots of work skipping around the icey sections. Then even more work dodging the puddles and muddy sections. All in all the run was a lot of work.

  15. RUN
    Cochrane Pathways 4 km 00:32 12:58 pace

Tricky footing today. The thaw / freeze made it hazardous. However Bill, Kam and I danced our way along the river and back unscathed.

  16. RUN
tired Cochrane Pathways 20 km 02:32 12:16 pace

Had an interesting training session with my running buddy Wayne. A blustery day with snow blowing across the paths. This hid patches of glare ice causing a few pirouettes and other dance moves.

  17. RUN
tired Cochrane Pathways 15 km 02:04 13:21 pace

Tough slog along the snowy pathways. Ended up running in the streets.

  18. RUN
great Cochrane Pathways 9 km 01:07 11:59 pace

Great club run today. In no particular order topics included up-coming races, is President Trump a runner and "Cupping". Never a dull moment with this gang.

  19. RUN
great Cochrane Pathways 20 km 02:10 10:27 pace

Today was a good news / bad news run. The good news was that the right calf held up, the bad news was that 3 of my 4 water bottles froze solid. Not good.

Glad your calf is ok. Maybe you can spike with vodka next time to keep from freezing. Also, a nice drink too.

A big test for the right calf and it came through with flying colours. Pushing my mileage up as I train for the Calgary Marathon 150 km Ultra at the end of May.
