    Great morning on the trails with the running Ellis's; Roy, Lana and Brett. All getting ready for the Golden Ultra on September 22nd, 23rd and 24th.

    Ran the Fullerton Loop 6 times with Running buddy Roy (he did it 7 Times). Lots of elevation and great training for the Golden Ultra in late September.

    Ran along the creek trail with Run Club buddies Roy and Lana. First test of my brand new Salomon XT Shigarri's. Very nice ride.

    Time to crank up the training for the Golden Ultra in late September. The 4km Fullerton Loop is perfect for single track and elevation gain / loss. Four loops completed for 700m gain.

    What a morning traversing the alpine ridges around Lake O'Hara with Nephew Chris.
    This is the jewel in the crown of the Rockies and I got a pin for my efforts. Win-win.

    Ran along the path next to the misty river and met a number of dog walkers. Several of them said "Where's Autumn?" and I had to say "She's getting her beauty sleep!".

    Had the pleasure of meeting six men and women cycling from Calgary to Banff. They had camped by the Bow and when I asked them where they were from they said South Korea. Welcome to Canada.

    Went for the club run and hooked up with "Fast Paul". He pushed the pace along and even at 9.00am it was 28C. Arrived back at Coffee Traders soaked in sweat. Brilliant.
