    Back wearing the trail shoes today. Big turn out for the running club this morning (25). We all headed off in different directions but all ended up back at Guy's cafe.

    Fourth run with the new shoes and I'm feeling much more comfortable. The slow build up has worked well.

    All the lanes were full when I arrived so I went for a hot tub. Unfortunately, someone got out and I had to do my swim session.

    Up to 10km with the Brooks Pure Connects. I feel my gait has changed somewhat and I'm working with the shoe. Plan to do a longer run on Tuesday.

      I just switched to Brook PureCadence from a Nike support shoe and its taking a while for me to get used to the gait changes.

    Ran 5km in my new Brooks Pure Connect. Excellent fitting with lots of room in the toe box. Tomorrow I'll try 10km on the road.

      I've got both the blue/green and white/orange Pure Cadence and love them. I did take too big a bite and hurt my heel at first (I'm a pronator and they don't have the support I'm used to). Ran 20 miles in them. I'm almost to the point where they're my go-to shoes. In the meantime, I switch between them and my Ariels.

      Having success with my PureFlows. In spite of their "anatomical" last, though, I look forward to them coming in widths.

    Chris, at IMPACT magazine gave me a pair of Brooks Pure Connect to test drive for a week. I love the colour.

    I hooked up with a running buddy, Jamie, and his friend Ruban. They are young and fast and they pushed me to a little quicker 10km than I had planned. It felt good.
