Ken and I completed a short run from his house.

  2. RUN
    Hitchcock Creek Trail 6.02 mi

A very good run with The Godfather and 2-Step by the creek in some mighty cold air. It felt great out there.

  3. RUN
    Hinson Lake 6.01 mi

I just needed a little recovery run from yesterday. With a mid-day start I decided to just do easy miles. I saw an old running buddy out there that I haven't seen in a couple of years. He w... read more

Seems like you have old running buddies all over. That is wonderful. Good run, too!

  4. RUN
    Holden Beach 1/2 13.1 mi

Those flat runs near the beach still are not that fun for me. I would much rather have some hills to climb and descend. Nevertheless, it was a fun time with friends and family. The hip seemed to... read more

  5. RUN
    Hitchcock Creek Trail 2.26 mi

I have taken a few days off because of some hip pain. I decided to jog a short easy one by the creek tonight. Still hurts a little but better.

  6. RUN

Good miles. I looking at high miles myself, if I don't get moving before the end of the month. The century mark might not happen for the first time in 6 years. Oh well, still doable I suppose, since the NC Fat Ass looms large.

Very nice outing with Chris & Nina along with Ben from Taylorsville.

  8. RUN

  9. RUN
    Calvary Loop 6.18 mi

Nice easy run with the gang tonight. That wind was strong out there and for some reason the traffic was high. Nonetheless, we completed the miles.

  10. RUN
    Hitchcock Creek Trail 17.52 mi

I needed 15 for the weeks total but several of the gang were out there at various times which encouraged me to get a little extra. The company of others makes those long runs more fun.

  11. RUN
    NCFA Course 10.4 mi

Some of the gang joined me for a loop of the NC Fat Ass course. We really took it easy and just enjoyed the fellowship.

  12. RUN

@Steven J. I caught one Bass & 13 Red Breast. I forgot to mention, as I was climbing the bank, I encountered either a Banded Water Snake or a Brown Water Snake. It was covered in a little mud, so it was hard to ascertain which one.

Well, that makes for a lot of running. Congrats on a great day's efforts. I had to look up Hoffman, NC. Looks like the big city compared to Wind Blow :-)

@Bob, Yes sir, that Hoffman is much bigger than Wind Blow. I wanted Derby, NC for my home town but DM did not locate it.
