  1. RUN
    Hitchcock Creek Trail 6.04 mi

Snake Lassiter joined me for a few miles by the creek this evening. It was difficult to breathe the humid air on the first loop but I felt much better by the end of the run.

It was just to blasted hot today.

What an awesome run in a nice down pour with the gang tonight.

  4. RUN
    Hitchcock Creek Trail 6.02 mi

I met 2-Step for a short one along the creek. That humidity sucks the life out of you. My legs are super tired and sore but otherwise I felt good.

  5. RUN
    Rocky Face Park 17.6 mi

The Vertical Mile is a 2.2 mile loop we run 8 times which collectively gives us one vertical mile. It truly is a very arduous climb. However, the natural beauty in the area is breathe taking. I ... read more

Well, it just wasn't feeling right at all. I met Squirmy and Deadeye for a few miles at the creek. My mind said yes but my body said no. Tomorrow will be a better day.

  7. I have been very sore since Saturday's Hatfield & McCoy Marathon, so I've spent the past two days pushing a lawn mower. It actually helps get the soreness out. I'm ready to get... read more

  8. RUN
Hatfield & McCoy Marathon 26.2 mi

It was my first time in the hills of West Virginia and parts of Kentucky. Beautiful course but by far one of the toughest I've had to complete in years. I highly recommend it.

  9. RUN
    Global Running Day 3.7 mi

We've been doing this for a few years and it just gets better each year. Very nice group tonight and a wonderful meal afterward.

  10. RUN
    Hitchcock Creek Trail 6.02 mi

Good group tonight. Iceman ran the entire 6 miles which is good, for he has been struggling of late.

  11. RUN
    Hitchcock Creek Trail 5.76 mi

Yesterday's run in the rain was phenomenal, today's run in the humidity was a drudgery. However, Dead-eye and Pistol made it more fun.

  12. RUN
    Hitchcock Creek Trail 10.16 mi

Indeed it did feel great out there in the pouring rain with Squirmy running with me.

  13. RUN
    Hitchcock Creek Trail 4.34 mi

Easy run to end the week. I encountered a beautiful Box Turtle digging a hole in order to lay some eggs. Hopefully, no one will tamper with it and we'll get to see the little ones later.

Snake Lassiter called for a group run after he got off work around 8:00 am. I figured I would get there early for some additional miles before they all arrived. J.Fontaine was there and we did 3 ... read more

I never run well in heat and that was a tough run to complete. What seemed like a great idea two days ago became a death march the final three loops. I have to agree with Squirmy, ultra runners a... read more
