    Decided to respect the recovery/taper and only do a single loop. Was able to get it in between the rain drops. Still a bit muggy

    Nice and easy recovery run with Lori F. My right ankle is a little sore but everything else felt pretty good considering this is day 2 post ultra.

      Massage would be nice, but I'm afraid the ankle soreness is due to the metal plate and 8 screws that have been in there since 2001

    Recovery miles to stretch out the muscles. Legs and right ankle took about 3/4 of a mile but then everything felt ok

  15. There is something not quite right about having run 44.1 miles over the weekend and seeing a zero this morning. It is the ultimate "What have you done for me lately/today?"

      Well I'm in no rush to zap that zero. It's going to be a long week of no running rest for me.. though I may do some spinning miles if that zero bugs me too much. :)

      I'll go for a recovery 4 miler tonight at The Fit. I have found that usually helps with the tightness / soreness.

      You yoga...I run. We accomplish the same things, although yours might be less painful at the start. Besides, I have another 50K in two weeks. Have to recover this week and taper next week :)

    2 mile warmup and then 4.15 miles with the HUGE group of runners and walkers. It was so nice to see so many people come together for Boston. And really nice to see so many friends Boston Strong!
