    good 6.56 mi 01:27 13:19 pace

I don't usually put a green smiley next to my workout log but was very pleased. Day @ of weekend 1 for the DL Dumbo Double-Dare went well. Best back to back workouts I've had in probably ... read more

  6. RUN
    alright 4.4 mi 01:01 13:46 pace

One of those "experimental runs" trying different Galloway ratios. Trying to figure out which one works for me in terms of helping out with both stamina and pace. Hoping to iron this out ... read more

I found that sometimes the ratio that works best may be different on different days. Good luck!

I have been playing around a bit as well. Keep trying. You will find something that works for you. (Personally I think 6 min run/1 min run works best for me at this point)

Nice job Mike. Definitely learn to work the ratios, you'll find which work best given conditions (weather, health, etc).

Warmup...interesting fringe benefit from my rehab is that I am walking faster...comes in handy when doing any Galloway method.

  10. RUN
    blah 10.01 mi 02:25 14:31 pace

This was a "gutting it out" run. It was all about doing the distance and not worrying about pace...especially under not so good conditions and me not getting out there for seven days....b... read more

It's all about the distance. I try to remind myself that staying injury free is more important than pace time.

Yeah, they happen but great attitude. Hope tomorrow's run goes better!

You gotta have the bad runs now and again to appreciate the highs of a good run. The main thing is you got through it and the knee is still on the road to recovery... Top work!
