good 1/10 Cloudland Canyon trail race 12.5 mi 03:00 14:22 pace

I have no idea what the actual distance of this race was. My Fitbit had it at over 13 miles but other racers' various GPS devices had it around 12.5 miles. This was my longest race and was by ... read more

  7. RUN
    alright 2014 Aids Walk Atlanta 5K 5 km 00:24 07:34 pace

I felt mostly good but the hill on The Prado up to Piedmont was a killer. This race may have the best finish line of any race in metro Atlanta. There must have been over a hundred people all cheeri... read more

  10. RUN
    good 10/11 Oakhurst Arts Run 5K 5 km 00:24 07:39 pace

A tough course. It felt like the last mile and a half was uphill.

  11. RUN
blah 10/9 BPRC Decatur group run 3.76 mi 00:33 08:46 pace

I spent the first 2.5 miles alternating between feeling out of breath and running on aching tree stumps. I even walked a bit. I finished well.

  12. RUN
tired 10/7 Highland Runners group run 5.19 mi 00:46 08:51 pace

I spent almost the entire run feeling out of breath. I should have run the three mile route. I underestimated my recovery from my 10K on Saturday.

great 10/2 BPRC Decatur group run 3.28 mi 00:26 07:55 pace

I definitely have my fitness back for these three mile runs. Now, I just need to build up some mileage and then I can attempt a half marathon in November or December.

  16. RUN
good 9/30 Highland Runners group run 4.59 mi 00:39 08:29 pace

Got to test run in the Hoka Clifton. It is a super light shoe but it is not for me -- way too much foam.
