ABOUT MY INJURY (SHIN SPLINTS)... IT IS PRETTY BAD SO I HAD 2 CHOICES: SURGERY OR SHOCKWAVE TREATMENT, I CHOSE THE TREATMENT.
THE DOC SAID THE SHIN SPLINTS ARE ON BOTH SIDE OF MY LEFT CALF BONE.
I STARTED THE TREATMENT YESTERDAY (MY BDAY GIFT & LOT'S OF PAIN, LOL). 5 SESSIONS, ONCE A WEEK.
AFTER THAT THE DOC WILL BE FOLLOWING MY RECOVERY, SOME EXERCISES & WALKING AT FIRST UNTIL I’M BACK AGAIN RUNNING.
JUNE I’LL BE ONLY DOING LIGHT WEIGHTS & LIGHT STATIONARY BIKE WORKOUTS.
JULY WILL BE RECOVERY WITH NO RUNNING.

SOON I'LL BE BACK AGAIN DOING WHAT I LOVE THE MOST - RUNNING AND RACES!

    Thanks guys for the support. If this treatment doesn't work, that will be no more running for me because I'm not doing the surgery, that's for sure. :o)

    Cynara! Now I know where you have been, like me INJURED. BUT I have been getting better, but it has been so darn hot here in ATL. No excuse though. I have the Peachtree in a few weeks and it will be hot then also. Hope you get better FAST and get back out there running and racing. Missed you! :-)

    Thank you for the sunshine on my wall and I need to resubmit a friend request. Something weird has happened with my account. I have lost a bunch of friends. Didn't know about it until several people asked me why I had deleted them, and of course, I had not! I hope you are healing. I miss your posts! Happy New Year to you beautiful lady!
