Very cool Lucy - you should be proud and excited - it was the lifeguards at my local pool that helped me get to where I am now in preparation for my Triathlon - without them I would not be able to have the confidence that I have now :))

That's great! When doing endurance runs starting out slow is definitely worth it in the end--I always save something so I can just go all inm the last few miles (and it's sooo much fun to pass the people who burned out early sprinting past me and are now walking!)
