RUN
great Solo run 4.2 km 00:26 09:50 pace
Running in the rain...so lovely!! Was quite out of breath (Hubby could hear me panting when running up our street) so I was very surprised with this time. Very happy though!! :)

RUN
good Run/Walk with Harvey 4 km 00:31 12:17 pace
We had lots of fun but didn't make the best time. Harvey was extremely excited. Jumping up at me, trying to bite his lead (which was wrapped around my hand) and pulling me all over the path. M... read more

Hard work, but happy to be out again!!

Nice Job:

@ Lou, laughing at "The Andrew program" He will be mortified at putting a label on it, but he under estimates his ability to motivate! If he got me to run 5k last yr he could turn pro!!! @Adina, no Lou is not following "The Andrew program", she robbed it, ha ha, however coach Andrew has agreed it would not be challenging enough for Lou. She under estimates her ability as a runner! And a runner she is!
-
Nice Job:
Oh man I'm embarrassed. I was hoping to go under the radar. Anyway, have fun with the program. I think it's a little too easy for you since you've already banged out a 1/2 Mary. Feel free to experiment :)

RUN
great Bay Run 6.94 km 00:39 09:04 pace
Last Bay Run before C2S. Crashed again, wish I could say it was due to speed but was looking at my ipod and got my foot tangled in some bushes. Picked myself up and kept going. PUMPED for next Sund... read more

Thanks everyone, think that pace was a bit of a fluke though. @AndrewA...loving the new shoes, just needed to wear them in a bit. Best thing, no blisters!!

No fluke Lou! It's not like driving where traffic needs to be taken into account. You did a 5:38 pace, accept it! :-)

Much credit to the Hubby. I still can't believe he just did 14km with next to no training. You should get him out more often!

RUN
tired Struggle Street 14.6 km 01:39 10:54 pace
Not sure I am going to crack the 90 for city2surf anymore :(
-
A 14k equivalent is 95 mins. Adrenalin alone will knock off that 5 minutes. You know it! I'm impressed! Did you do the Cooks river run?

alright Croydon :( 5.65 km 00:37 10:31 pace
Felt really happy to be out running again but this was hard, think I have lost a lot of fitness in the last 4 weeks...
-
RUN
blah Embarcadero again 6.7 km 00:44 10:37 pace
Very hot and feeling very unfit...think i have undone all that training :(
-
Feel Better:
That is still a good run Lou. Is it the food? Probably just hotter than you're used to. Have a great night

Don't worry Lou, how you felt on that run was just to do with the heat I'm sure. Remember you took a 3 week break after Canberra and bounced back better than before!

Thanks Andrew and Suz, it is definitely the food and alcohol :). Will just have to train hard when i get home...

good Embarcadero 6.7 km 00:41 09:48 pace
A few extra kgs and a lazy week and a half made this run a little tough!

I think it was the speed that made it tough! Wow Lou! So happy you got a run in there! Take any pics on your run?

Poor Lou, you have just worked 7 days straight and got your 13k in yesterday. I think 6.3 is far enough!!! And fast for a recovery! Fantastic week! :-)
