started my run and the strangest thing, I was overwhelmed with emotion and had to fight tears. Maybe it was the heat...85 is too hot! I planned on a sweet morning run, snoozed my alarm at 7 and woke up WAY too late. However, I did give my new Mizuno's a whirl. Starting half 'training' in the morning to prep for the Omaha Half in September :)

    I'm ready since it's 3 months away, that first half-marathon nearly killed me, but I need to have these goals. I won't lie, the 10K that day is pretty enticing.

    The last half of the half (if that makes sense) is pretty hilly - and there's one hill that just sucks, to be honest.     If it's any consolation, I've had to fight tears on a few runs. That dopamine rush or something! Looks like you composed yourself and got in some hot miles. Great job!
