Hot and humid are the words for today. Started at 5 and really, really glad we did. The last 6 in the sun were tough and the pace suffered a bit. Thanks to Roscoe G. I got it done.

10 with some speed. Schedule called for 5 miles at 1/2MP, but heat prevented anything close to fast.

RUN
good 11 mi 01:47 09:43 pace
Much better run this Thursday than last. Matthew's shade route made the 11 miles bearable. Felt good enough today to pick up the pace for the last 2 miles. Rest it is!

Besides the heavy traffic, strollers, and dogs, it was a great 5K. Just needed my side kick Matthew to push me like last year.

good Bangor, Maine 11.5 mi 01:56 10:05 pace
Fantastic run! Not because it was speedy, but a very scenic and challenging course. And the fact that I got to run the entire route with Matthew :) The legs are definitely not accustom to hills.

I would have loved it if I could have run with you.
