good Long run 14.6 mi 02:48 11:30 pace

Moved my Saturday long run up 2 days so I can work the GSRC Picnic. Hot and humid but got it done. I wanted 14, but missed a turn and ended up with 14.60. I think the melting point of Body Glide is... read more

  2. RUN
great Saturday long run 12.12 mi 02:12 10:53 pace

The run I have been waiting for! Felt great with NO issues. The new Brooks are a keeper. Sorry Asics it was a very bad decision to discontinue your true neutral shoe. P.S. Still no chafing with the... read more

  3. RUN
good Saturday long run 17 mi 02:58 10:28 pace

Hot and humid are the words for today. Started at 5 and really, really glad we did. The last 6 in the sun were tough and the pace suffered a bit. Thanks to Roscoe G. I got it done.

  4. RUN
alright Hot Thursday 11 mi 01:55 10:29 pace

Extremely tough run this week. Legs felt okay, but just didn't have any extra get up. A special shout out to Matthew for meeting me with a homemade Icee.

  5. RUN
good Recovery Run 4.5 mi 00:47 10:26 pace

A much needed recovery run and then a cool dip in the pool with Matthew C. and Lonnie K. This was just was the legs needed.

  6. RUN
    alright 10 mi 01:39 09:54 pace

10 with some speed. Schedule called for 5 miles at 1/2MP, but heat prevented anything close to fast.

  7. RUN
    good 11 mi 01:47 09:43 pace

Much better run this Thursday than last. Matthew's shade route made the 11 miles bearable. Felt good enough today to pick up the pace for the last 2 miles. Rest it is!

  8. RUN
good Long run 13.5 mi 02:18 10:13 pace

First long run of the marathon plan went well. Very thankful to Melissa K and Roscoe G for making the miles fly by. Sad to say summer chafing is back.

  9. RUN
    great Diva's Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:09 09:52 pace

I did my job today with special thanks to the great weather! 10 minute pacer was 1:38 fast. Not too shabby for my first try. Great job to all the Diva's and a couple PRs too!

  10. RUN
good Savannah post-race long run 13.1 mi 02:10 09:55 pace

Good recover run with Matthew, Lonnie, Frank and Murray. Stopped for photo ops along the adjusted RNR Half course.

  11. RUN
    Double Pump 10K 6.2 mi 00:58 09:17 pace

Great race, tough bridges, beautiful weather. Just a little off last years pace. See you next year Talmadge.

  12. RUN
    Double Pump 5K 3.1 mi 00:28 08:55 pace

Besides the heavy traffic, strollers, and dogs, it was a great 5K. Just needed my side kick Matthew to push me like last year.

  13. RUN
    3 mi 00:29 09:39 pace

Quick run to loosen up the legs with Matthew C. before the race this weekend.

  14. RUN
    blah Early mid-week run 7 mi 01:08 09:42 pace

Tough run tonight; legs hurt, had zero energy and did I mention the head wind? Would have cut this run very short if it wasn't for Matthew C. I definitely slowed him down but we got in what wa... read more

  15. RUN

Legs were a little tired this morning. Thanks to Murray for helping me get it all in. Missed everybody, hope y'all are enjoying the holiday weekend.

  16. RUN

Finally a PR. Dropped more than a minute off my previous 10K time :) Weather was perfect. Congrats to @Matthew on his sub 7:30.

Tough run but able to get in the 5 mile loop.

  19. RUN
    3.1 mi 00:25 08:12 pace

Brookgeeen Turkey Trot. Almost a PR. Tired at the end, but recovered in 5 minutes. Gotta love this short stuff.

  20. RUN
good Gtown Bridge to Bridge half 13.23 mi 02:07 09:35 pace

Good training race in preps for my 2 other fall halfs. Temp was perfect but a little too much wind for me. Way to go @Matthew running a PR! @Julie betting her goal time and @Frank for scorching his... read more
