      I'm staying between the lines, will just see this through. I am getting a hunch that my metabolism is different than it was when I was 42. So, I just have to dig in and boogie a touch harder. Spring is coming and I want to be ready.

      Scale at 232. I am on course, and staying on course. This is part of my learning curve. I'm certain this has do with liquid increase. But, all is normal in that department. Anyway, Spring is coming, I will keep plugging. Mornings like this tend to lick the red off my candy, but, this goes with it. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

      230 this morning. It just has to be liquid. I drink a pint of water I'm up a pound -- and vice versa. Frustrating, but I'm staying the course. I'm not crashing, just monitoring my calories and trying to color within the lines. It;s still too cold outside to crash, but those warmer days are coming. The goal 208 remains in sight.

      I used to think 76 was old. Now that I are one, humm? Doesn't look at all like I thought it would be; I think age is a lot of what one has in his head. Some folks die when they are 30 but aren't buried until they are in their 70's. The grass looks greener now that I passed the 75 mark.

      I don't feel right about my Garmin reading. Garmin is better than nothing, but my experience, in my humble opinion, exceeds the Garmin report. Whatever, that's what Garmin reported today. Of course there is always this: The old gray mare he ain't what he used to ... yadda, yadda, yadda!

      When doing exercises that require you to flex your wrist the reading can be off. Even a firm grip can alter the reading. I’ve noticed that there is a big difference when wearing a chest strap doing kettlebell workout and I’m assuming jump rope may even possibly be effected. Riding bicycle yes, Trike no. You can get a cheap chest strap HRM that will help but you can also do that with your iPhone. The wrist HRM is good for walking, running and mostly for all day recording and resting heart rate.

      There were times when I had the Vhr that I thought I selected one app but actually selected the other. The touch screen can get a little tricky.
