      Fact is, I used my magnifying glass to set my Garmin. The problem is, I must confess, I could not read my Garmin and was guessing at the icons. Henceforth, I will set my Garmin in the office before I take off, so it will always read a little out of sync with my Runmeter. Another case of too soon oldt undt too late schmart! It usually takes Relive several hours to post, so if it posts I will add my reading that link when it comes in.

      I have an idea. Set your Garmin on cardio to record time and heart rate but enter it on dailymile as walk or cycle so you can record “10 minutes equal X miles”.

      This morning I am down 1 pound from yesterday, but still up 4 pounds from last Monday. This doesn't make sense, but this is what I am reading. I am laying this at the feet of reduced exercise activity of the past four months.

      This time of year I believe we are programmed to store fat. Not doing so seems to take much more effort than other times of the year. I may be wrong but I’ve always noticed that as the season approaches a time of historical scarcity the body seems to prepare for famine. Of course being surrounded by Halloween Candy, Thanksgiving dinners and other holiday temptations doesn’t help.

      Go bro go! Got my new 5 pound hoop today. It’s a bit larger in diameter than the other which makes it easier but heavier which makes it more of a work out. I will keep you posted but this might be a good addition to your basement.

      Nice. I took a couple days off after Sunday’s trail run. My legs felt a little beat up after tripping on roots and falling face first a couple times. All part of the fun I guess but a tad sore.

      TUESDAY Bobbie, Jon and I invested today in prepping for winter. This is the after picture. Everything on the deck is put away, snowblower is in the garage and the garden, is tucked in ready for the white stuff.

      I didn't work out in the gym today. I am guesstimating the exercise with today's activity is tantamount to 4 miles. A good day so I'm going to grab all the gusto I can. About six hours with the three of us.
