Might not have been the best idea...my left calf is still super tight and for the past week my right ankle has been sore. Feels like I rolled it but I can't for the life of me remember hurting it at all! All I've done so far this week is my swimming lesson and I thought maybe a short easy 5km would help loosen things up...I was wrong :-(
Now my ankle is screaming bloody blue murder at me. I have an appointment with the chiropractor tomorrow so hopefully she can fix me up, but for now I will just keep icing while I watch the Masters.

Sorry to hear that, on the plus side, a roll shouldn't take too long to heal. Good luck at the appt.

You might have changed your gait because of your left calf, which caused different muscles in your right ankle to get overused and ... anywho :-).. I hope all of you will feel better soon!! I saw some vid on the weathernetwork.. geez you guys got a pretty good dump there earlier this week!

@Karin - I know...the sidewalks that weren't shovelled were killer! I had two choices - level but hard surface on the road or soft cushion of snow but unlevel from previous footprints. I was doing not bad until after mile 2 when I was running straight into the wind as well. Whatever the cause, I really need to get it fixed soon - marathon training starts in June and I haven't even put in 150 miles yet this year!

June's a good ways off, so you have lots of time to get it taken care of and get some base miles in. Feel better.

@Mike - I wish that were true. I will be in the high arctic working 12-14 hour days for at least the first 3 weeks of May, possibly all month.
