Started off with a 30 minute hill repeat program - 3 minute intervals at level 3, 5 & 9 then repeat 2 more times and last 3 minutes at level 3. Then moved right into another 30 minutes at a steady level 5. Stretched out the calves and hammies. I have noticed some circulation issues in my toes (wearing my VFFs & my toes were numb on the 2nd half). Hope that is just an elliptical issue and doesn't carry over to when I try a run in them.


My feet always go numb on an elliptical. Probably nothing to worry over.

Great job w/ intervals! (Sometimes my toes get numb on certain machines, I usually wear running sneakers and wonder if they are not the best thing for machines other than tm.)

I find my feet get tingly after 30min on the elliptical too. Sweet workout though!

The few times I've tried an elliptical the same thing happened. Something about how your feet try to grip it, I think. I seriously doubt it's the VFFs.
