great Gym TM 1% Incline and progressive speed 3.11 mi 00:33 10:42 pace

After a 5 minute walk to warm up I reset to the 5km loop, started at 5.0 and increased the speed by 0.1 every 1/4 mile, ending at 6.2 for the final .11 mile. Then I grabbed a mat and did lateral leg lefts (30 each side), clam shells (10 each side) and tried some bridges but my left hip was toast! Looks like I will be concentrating on hip/glute/core strength while I am up north :-) Isn't it amazing how things just seem to work out for the best sometimes?
