I was way too warm in the get-up I went out in ... but I told myself it was "warm weather" training for Ottawa. :) (Although you are much braver than me to go out in shorts!) Nice work!

Nice! I think you may have been a degree or two warmer than here in Chicago. I also wore shorts and a long sleeve, but I needed it with the wind we had. Great run Loreen!

great WHO Wants to Run for Autism 10K 6.28 mi 01:02 09:53 pace

My very first virtual race! As soon as we heard about this, we wanted to do it for a couple boys that are dear to our hearts. They will really get a kick out of the medals when we give them to them.

great Down to Old Town 3.4 mi 00:33 09:45 pace

3 long sleeves was pretty much perfect, but could have used some of those $1 knit gloves in the first half of the run.

Nice Loreen! So the snow is starting to melt up by you finally. That's good. Not sure what your difficulties were, but I hope they were just temporary and not recurring. Enjoy the warmup! Great run today.

    great Fieldhouse 33 5.01 mi 00:48 09:40 pace

Why is it taking more laps to get to 5 miles than it used to? Could my stride be getting longer than the average stored in Garmin? Guess I need to get more runs outside to know for sure.

Which Garmin are you using? What is the "workout mode" mean? I have the 920 - do you mean the virtual pacer? Man I hate that thing. Never slows down....How long till your race? Which one is it? Good luck Loreen.

Hey Ben, you can send workouts from Garmin Connect to your watch and thanks Ken, it is the 620. My race is the Hypothermic Half in Victoria, BC on Valentine's Day. Looking forward to almost a week at temps well above freezing!

I'm sorry you struggled! That's never a good feeling at the end (or during) a workout. And I'm with you Ben on hating the virtual pacer. She never has a bad day...EVER!
