      I dont do it every run... but for sure on my long runs and I used to do vega one... but then changed to the sport protein it has 25 grams of protein so i get do that after or for a shake if needed

      It isn't threatening the city, in fact, they aren't even fighting it...just being monitored. And no, there is only one highway connecting us to the south. They had issued a voluntary evacuation of people who live along the highway after lightning started it, but a lot of those folks just stayed home anyway.

      Any race that gets titled "In the Heat & Smoke" is a tough one. Love how you hung in there, pushed through and finished strong! I just love your spirit and determination. I think this is a great race Loreen--congrats!! :-)

      Oh and yeah it adds a little to the logistics but I have to bring the UCAN with me and take it in about 45 minutes before the race. But it really is great stuff.
