  1. RUN
great Down Niven to Old Town 3 mi 00:30 10:07 pace

Gorgeous evening for a run! Bright and sunny, 9C/48F and very little wind. I was even inspired to turn right at the Wildcat and go up and over the hill there, instead of running around it! That hur... read more

  2. RUN
Quarter mile repeats 3.34 mi 00:37 11:02 pace

It was looking like it might rain so I opted to take this workout to the treadmill. This week I had 9 repeats to do and I wanted to make sure I had enough in the tank for all of them so figured I w... read more

  3. RUN
    great Groovin' 5.01 mi 00:51 10:12 pace

The only thing that would have made this run better was if I didn't have to stop for traffic! Scott C. and I took off from home together and just before hitting one mile he headed for the lake... read more

Ahh yep. I have a 220 and is missing those features unfortunately. Still an awesome watch though.

So that's one of the perks of the fancy 620 you've got. When my 305 died I debated the 620, but I'm glad I went with the 310xt. Good job on the VO2 fitness. I wonder how it calculates that? However it does, keep up the good work - and then enjoy one of the perks of age :-)

    Airport loops 10.01 mi 01:55 11:26 pace

Great day for a run! Plan A was to run out to the airport, do 2 loops then down Old Airport road and back home on Franklin. Realized the airport loop was longer than I thought and figured if I did ... read more

Nice double digit run yesterday Loreen! The side stitches are bad. I think I heard once it's dehydration that causes that. Now I'm gonna have to look it up. How's the weather up by you these days?

Summer has definitely left the building, Ben. We've had a couple nights where it dipped below freezing overnight.

blah Unexpectedly rough 5 mi 00:57 11:18 pace

Dang it. I hate it when something like this just completely throws off what should be a really decent run. Nice job improvising and getting 5 in. You always get it done.

great That's more like it! 5.01 mi 00:52 10:19 pace

  12. RUN
Out and back 4 mi 00:44 11:00 pace

The funny thing about an out and back? If the first half is pretty much downhill, you know the second half is gonna hurt :-) I would normally prefer to keep it nice and flat on my Saturday run, but... read more

Oh my...I can't believe those temps. Wow. Can I please come visit??? Tough when the first part of an out and back is the easy part. But good mental training. :-) Nice 4 Loreen.

I say for short intervals just run hard. I probably always run 400s faster than I could run a 5k. Leave it out on the road. Just keep the iPod in the pocket next time :-)

Yeah I was noticing the trees here, definitely turning (and it was 10/45 when I left my car...imagine it's colder for you now than it is here; though!). So sad! But sounds like you had a great run. Always fun to do a new loop! :)

good In the rain 3.01 mi 00:32 10:36 pace

Cool day, 12C/54F and rainy. Not heavy and pretty much mostly mist by the time I finished. Was definitely cooled down after the mile walk home.

    • Marcie M.

That sounds just great! Of course I guess it means it is about to start getting cooler and cooler and cooler there. Doubt you guys are looking forward to that. But 54F? Perfect running weather.
