Nice Loreen! Great job on your zero zapper! Sorry I've been out of touch a bit, what's happening next week?

    good Treadmill 6 mi 01:04 10:39 pace

Work this weekend has been draining, so rather than have my assistant frustrate herself when I am sure she can get the answers she needs tomorrow, we decided not to go back after supper tonight. Al... read more

  3. RUN
great Resolute Bay TM 3.39 mi 00:36 10:35 pace

Good run, wanted to keep going but it was supper time. The window to get your meal is only 30 minutes (6-6:30) so you don't want to be late.

And this is Resolute Bay, NU, my home for the next 10 days.

I think you need to be quite resolute to live there! Enjoy the time there, Loreen!

Actually, I haven't needed my parka this year at all! Just a thin fleece and windbreaker jacket. Right now it is -4C/25F. Sun is warm so even though temp is below freezing, the snow is melty/slushy.

Yay! The plane made it in! A day later than scheduled, but it could have been worse.

This is about as close as you get to a sunset this time of year in Grise Fiord, NU.

  7. RUN
great Runch TM 4 mi 00:42 10:23 pace

This was much better than yesterday. The TM was moved to where it is cooler and I can look out the window. Started out at 5.5 and increased speed by .1 every quarter mile til I hit 6.5. Kept it the... read more

good Grise Fiord TM 2 mi 00:22 10:55 pace

    Grise Fiord 3 mi 00:34 11:14 pace

  13. RUN
good The loop 6 mi 00:59 09:51 pace

Fought a side stitch the first couple miles, and I could have done without the 10mph headwind, but got the 5 miles I wanted + 1 more for good luck! Happy Humpday!

  14. RUN
good To Old Town 3.42 mi 00:33 09:38 pace

Got out for a quick run after work. At first I was second guessing my choice to wear shorts when the wind picked up, but by the end I was glad for them.

I was way too warm in the get-up I went out in ... but I told myself it was "warm weather" training for Ottawa. :) (Although you are much braver than me to go out in shorts!) Nice work!

Nice! I think you may have been a degree or two warmer than here in Chicago. I also wore shorts and a long sleeve, but I needed it with the wind we had. Great run Loreen!

  19. RUN
great WHO Wants to Run for Autism 10K 6.28 mi 01:02 09:53 pace

My very first virtual race! As soon as we heard about this, we wanted to do it for a couple boys that are dear to our hearts. They will really get a kick out of the medals when we give them to them.

  20. RUN
great Down to Old Town 3.4 mi 00:33 09:45 pace

3 long sleeves was pretty much perfect, but could have used some of those $1 knit gloves in the first half of the run.
