    great Outside! 6.51 mi 01:03 09:44 pace

Beautiful day out there! 17C/58F and clear blue sky! Could have done with a bit less wind (10-20 mph) but it must have been helping at least part of the time. Felt like I was flying for mile 6...al... read more

good No unscheduled stops! 6 mi 01:03 10:30 pace

I tried a couple things last night and it paid off...made it through the full 60 minutes without the belt stopping! First, I unplugged the machine. Then, I closed all the blinds so the sun wouldn&#... read more

Good thinking! I hate that "it's going to stop any minute" feeling, super job for getting your hour in!

What's this? Your TM giving you problems? I know they have their place, and at times I'd like one, but I think we all agree the TM is an evil beast. Good job getting your run in, and I hope the TM is either fixed or works normally again soon.

You would think looking out the window at this would keep me cool, but no, still felt like running in a sauna!

  7. RUN
    Broke the TM...again 5.5 mi 00:58 10:35 pace

Pretty sunny so it was hot in there again. Was planning to get at least an hour done today. My 15k is less than 4 weeks from now and I haven't even done an 8 miler yet. Started off at 5.5 (10:... read more

You're on track for that 15k! Glad you are able to find the trick to get that TM rolling again and stick with it. Love the run increasing your pace too!

Good luck with your 15k in about a month. That must be so aggravating about the TM being busted. Did I read on one of your posts that another is coming? I get the feeling they don't have a lot of sporting good stores in your area.

  8. RUN
good Resolute Bay, NU 4.1 mi 00:45 10:58 pace

Needed to clear my head. Wanted more but I somehow reduced the time setting from 60 minutes down to 40, then I just lost my rhythm. Too bad, cause I think had this been an outside run, I could have... read more

I think I dreamt about you last night. Or at least your surroundings. I really never remember my dreams but now as I read your post, I swear I think I dreamt about you in that crazy place. Glad you got this in. How much longer do you have?

good Resolute Bay, NU 3.75 mi 00:37 09:52 pace

Both time and distance are my best guess. TM stopped dead at something past 16 minutes and my lowest pace was 10:00, and the last 2 miles were in 19:06, incline set at 2%. Sun was beating in all da... read more

Sounds busy. I'm glad you were able to find some time for a run. 10-14 hour days? Sheesh, that sucks. I haven't had to do that for a while. Hope I never have to again - or at least for a while.

First run in shorts! About 10C/50F but felt a lot colder than that down in Old Town by the lake. Too bad I'm heading north in a couple days where I will need to layer up again, or hit the TM :-(

alright To Old Town 4.01 mi 00:40 09:55 pace
