    I'm excited as my achilles doesn't hurt like it use to after a run. this is my 2nd run within 3 days; I'm hopeful I can keep running if I take it slow.

    Achilles were sore from the get-go of run; after a mile it subsided by 80%. Need to go to PT get myself conditioned back to running. REALLY MISS LONG RUNS.

    Good run. Achilles bothered me after mile 3.

    Both achilles ached during most of run. I'm choosing to ignore it for now and just run at a slow pace because running again feels good.

      Often the issue with the Achilles is with tight calf muscles, not the Achilles itself. Try this & see if it helps: Stand on a step/ledge with the balls of your feet - - raise up & hold for a slow count of 15, then take your heals down for a slow count of 12, then up for 15, down for 12, & up for 15 again. Do this once or twice a day & within a week you should be feeling better. Best of luck!

    walked last half mile in...achilles a little sore, but took the entire run easy. Beautiful day out there..felt good.
