    Awesome! But so much for my efforts at consistency. All of this finding time to run problem could be solved by my getting up earlier in the morning...but it's so difficult...

      Try setting out all your running gear right next to your bed, set your alarm, and tell yourself as you're going to sleep that the second the alarm goes off you will swing your legs straight out of bed and stand up. Works for me - I find that I'm standing up next to the bed putting my gear on practically before I've woken up!

      Or if that doesn't work make a commitment to a friend to meet them at 6am for a run or walk - then you have to do it!

      Thanks for the tip - i am absolutely the WORST at getting up in the morning. Which is stupid because i love running so i'm only missing out on something i love doing anyway?! seems a shame to only squeeze in a few runs a week when i could be doing much more

    full disclosure - walk break on the way back, was knackered. windy out which made it a bit more difficult. gave up trying to pace myself and just ran however. felt good.
