Goal:

Surf City Marathon in February followed by the Catalina Marathon five weeks later. I'll be doing a couple of 10K's and half marathons between now and then.

I didn't feel "great" the entire time, but definitely felt great afterward. My Garmin says I did closer to 26.4 miles. I either did really bad at running the tangents or the course was a bit long. It doesn't matter. I finally ran a marathon feeling strong and I met my goal. I had a good share of aches and pains along the way, but I stuck to my race plan and ran my own race. I'm on cloud nine.
