After taking Watson out for a short jaunt, I was up for some "me" time. I thought I would just run as far as it felt good. A friend that I hadn't spoken with in a long time called me just as I was heading out so I chatted with her for the first 4K or so. It was great, almost like having a running bud again!

Unfortunately, the phone conversation killed my phone battery, which likes to shut down when it is at 20%, so I had no podcasts or run tracker for the remainder of the run. I've misplaced my running watch too, so I felt a little naked.

After a while though it felt nice to just run and forget about the tech! My route offered beautiful vistas of autumn leaves and I ran past some really fun Halloween-y houses.

I really enjoyed myself on this run!
