great Solo run 8.51 km 00:55 10:22 pace

This was such a fun run. The sun was shining, the air was clear and I was stroller free! I was pleasantly surprised with this run because I had to pry my bottom off of the couch.

Since I almost exclusively run along the mountain brow, I get to know the weekday and weekend regulars. There's the elderly saint who picks up garbage every day. There are fitness troopers that walk up and down the stairs. A super duper fit dude will sprint along the brow and then run up and down the stairs, I seriously don't know how he does it. One of my favourites is the friendly British guy that looks EXACTLY like Bilbo Baggins walking his sheep dog. I'll bet he lives in a burrow.

Today I saw the weekend runners and cyclists who were all revelling in this gorgeous autumn day. I hope the weather holds out for next week!
