I'm really pleased with this run!! I stopped to refill my water bottles at mile 12 and still felt strong, not cramped and not out of breath - to my dismay. As I kept going around mile 15 is when I started to "feel" the engergy zap. I took my gu's at every 5 miles and intake of water was good. I think adding 5 miles to last weeks 12 might have been pushing it, but I HAD to get to where I was prior to getting sick. I'm glad I did it, I needed that as a mental boost going into my final two weeks before the Surf City Marathon. :)

    Hee Hee...that's funny. Her philosophy was "I'd rather you have rested untrained legs than tired overtrained legs on race day". Sounds about right but I think if I run 20 next Sunday and around 10 the following Sunday, my legs might be ok. What do I know....
