YUCK !!!! I couldn't wait to go meet Jean at the park today and run, I felt good, my knee felt good...but alas as soon as we started my legs felt like they were lead weights and I couldn't get my breathing under control. I struggled through 2.5 and the hill, then told her to go ahead, I gave up and walked a few times...Oh well weekend will be better!!

11:00 isn't a bad workout. From running with my boys in the morning, I'm learning that slower is better for the majority of runs. Maybe your training too hard Lisa.

11 miles are great--sometimes they just turn into lead with no explanation! Way to get those 4 in today, Lisa!

It will be better girl! Hang in there. Just know you did your best and that's what counts anyway. We've all been there and know how u feel. Most people couldn't just go out and run 4 miles, so that is an accomplishment in its self :))))

Thanks everyone you always make me feel better!!! And Bill I have been thinking that, but then I think come on suck it up...and its funny because I would like my goal pace to be around 11:27, that would put me at 2:30 for the half. I'm just mad cuz I had to walk...

There's no shame in walking. Some days you just don't have it. I hope your next run is better. But don't work too hard this week. You have a race next weekend :)
