good Triathlon - Geezer Games 12.4 mi 01:26 8.7mph pace

I had fun on my first triathlon. I did better than my anticipated goal of 1:30 and I placed first in my age group. I think there were 4 women in older age groups that had better times - mad respect.

My biggest surprise came in the swimming section. I had a bit of pre-race jitters and it really messed up my breathing. I had to take a few strokes of breast stroke several times just to catch my breath. Hubz said I was still the first one out of the pool in my heat.

Hubz also got a gold medal - although he was only 3 minutes faster. He got cramps on the run.

Congrats to Patrick C. who also competed and looked wonderfully strong at the finish.
