    great 3.29 mi 01:00 18:14 pace

I'm still alive. School, soccer, meetings, & conferences have taken over my life! I need to mush in more exercise before the weather turns. Had the little guy in the stroller and he kep... read more

Quick ride before getting the boys. Turns out the Mopac was closed to bicycles at 98th on. That would be the only thing that made me cringe on the ride. I was hoping to get to Walton.

I heard the cracks were so deep they cannot even detect the bottom of them in some places!

I did stop to drop a torch and didn't see it hit bottom. Pretty sure I found the opening to the center of the earth.

Slow stroll. Tried squeezing it in before going to soccer practice.

  5. walk
    great 1.7 mi 00:55

The little guy was in such a good mood how could I say no to a walk? After a full day of school, yoga, and an evening stroll I'm exhausted! Wonderful day!!!

  6. FIT
    great 01:00

Got my sweat on after the first day of school. Just what I needed! Can't wait for the next class!!!

  7. walk
    great 3.13 mi 00:52 16:36 pace

Slow walk with the little guy and stroller after work. Needing to get myself back into the swing of things. Definitely harder to stay motivated in the evening!

He did! I let him choose the stroller or a bike ride. Thinking that made it more enjoyable. He made sure to point out every walker, jogger, bike rider, and motorcycle along the way. It was hilarious!

Went solo today. Thinking next time I might venture out further. This might be the replacement activity for a while although I miss the morning workout company!

Cycling activates another part of our brain that is unlike walking or running. However, they all have their benefits. Nice job!

Thanks! I am just happy that I can fit anything in during the evening at this point. Working out is a relatively new routine for me and I don't want to let it slide. It's too important.

good Mopac to Eagle 21.44 mi 02:03 10.5mph pace

First time for this route. Went with a friend. Left right after a front passed. Tons on wind on the way out and lots of rain the last 3 miles on the way back. For 21+ miles I feel pretty good.

It was fun. I was almost blown off the trail from a gust. Really enjoyed riding so early in the morning however.

Realized it was one of the last walks at the lake I'd get in before school starts. A bit sad about that. Now I need to find a new routine I can do every day.

Is this pretty far from where you live? Or why can't you do it when school starts?

Not too far from the house. I walk at 8am every morning. Can't do that when school starts. The lake is a bit more crowded in the evenings and I don't want to deal with that as much so now I can find a new favorite place.

Now I know the exact trail you are talking about. I might have to check it out. A friend and I are planning a 20 mile on the Mopac. We will see if I am around after that to try it. Lol!
