  1. #dailymission After a long run I mix up a protein shake in my car, I use Syntrax Nectar Chocolate Truffle. Yummy. I'm definitely not hungry after a run, but 2 hours later - ravenous!

    I hate to talk about the weather all the time, but darn, 95% humidity is high! Other than that, it was a nice run. Cloudy, only 70 degrees, I kind of pooped out at the end though.

      Definitely get your brakes fixed. Also, look carefully at your tire to make sure the brake pad wasn't wearing through it - that's a good way to have a blowout, which'll definitely ruin a ride.

      Great job sticking to the eight miles when wanting to stop after 4. Way to pull it through. It isn't too fun when the pace is not what you want to do, especially in the heat. Good job Linda.

  19. #dailymission What is your highest age group placement? What event? I came in 24th in my age group at the Baltimore Running Festival 5K in 2009. I wanted to break 30 minutes, but my time was 30:16.
