I was thinking of you Linda, the air was so chilly must have been killing your lungs! Glad you guys had a blast regardless, I loved it!

Thanks! It was tough but only really bad on the uphills (not enough oxygen), so I unfortunately walked a fair bit of those. I felt pretty decent on the downhill and level parts, though.

  6. RUN
    good Run 5.01 km 00:30 09:43 pace

I took my littlest out for a test drive in a new jogger. It was a great run, but I really need to try using some ventolin *before* I run. My new Altra Delilahs felt great, though. :)

Ah, so is the ventolin a short term measure for post viral asthma or is this now a permanent fixture in your life? Nice run.

Thanks! I think and hope it's the former. Both my son and I seem to be hanging onto a particularly persistent virus, and we're both still wheezing a couple months on.

I'm starting to believe the doctor who's told me that I've developed asthma. Hopefully, I can sort this out before the marathon!

Good pace though. Perhaps ease off a little?

Well done Linda. There is plenty of help to be had with asthma. And we all know that running helps! :-)

The strange thing is that I've never had it before until the last two months, and my son has developed it as well. Time to clean the window sills...

    great Swim 1500 m

I learned my lesson about checking the pool schedule before swimming. The 50m pool was divided into two 25m sections, and there were still only three lanes for laps, with up to five people per lane!

Oh, dear. That sounds very busy. Still, you managed a solid swim. Well done.
