Death by 5K. After passing Round 1 of Dailymile's March Madness Women's Challenge (top 32 of 150 women participating with most distance in 6 days), Round 2 gets the top 16 women based on best 5K time over a 3 day period. These ladies are awesome, and I knew my speed is nowhere near theirs, but worth a try. (Although stupid with a half marathon coming up Sunday.) Heart tried to explode 1.5 miles in...Oops. Paces: Mile 0-1 = 10:04 (whoa!), Miles 1.0-1.6 = 10:57, Miles 1.6-2.0 = 11:37, Miles 2.0-3.0 = 11:43 ("they'd never find my body"), Miles 3.0-3.1 = 10:13 (yay for being good at last kick!)

Nice!! I think that 5Ks are harder than half marathons! I always swear I'm about to die when i run one! :-)
