Baby weight is gone, now I want to lose another 15-20 if I can! Throw in a few 5ks this fall, maybe a 10k or 8 miler in Nov. Weight train more and yoga 2x week!

Naked run, no stopwatch, gps or iPod which felt nice. Time was around 27. This marks the start of day 1 half marathon #2 training! Has anyone tried Hal Higdon's advanced plan?

    First off, what a great start to your day! Second, I loosely followed HH's intermediate plan. Basically followed the weekly mileage schedule and added in tempo and race pace running into weekly workouts. I found McMillan's pace calculator to be a good guide for training paces. Best wishes!

    Well, I DID love the intermediate plan, quite a bit, minus the long runs on Sunday (want to move those to Sat.) and the increasing milage every week to the very last week, I didn't like that I was running 12 miles a week before race day. Though, it worked, so I guess I can't complain too much!

    Yeah Sang, I agree, I definitely felt uncomfortable with that and decided to run my 12 miler 3 weeks before race day. I don't regret it.
