So, my original goal was to put the kiddo in the jogging stroller and take advantage of the 70 degree weather on the last day of January. She had other plans for me though and we didn't get outside for a run and there have been one too many scary run-ins with female runners who run at night by themselves for me to feel comfortable running by myself at night. So, long story short I found myself in the basement again for my scheduled three mile run. I warmed up for three minutes then kicked it up and went for it. The last ten minutes were pretty rough and I realized I'm not doing all of the proper runner things I should be doing pre-run like hydrating properly. That would be helpful. Anyway, I finished the run no worse for the wear though my right ankle is still feeling tweaky and I should probably rectify that before something bad happens. I cooled down for about 4 minutes after my run. So, that's it. Nothing too exciting except Tosh.O was on and he's always fun to watch whether you're running or sitting. The end.
