    Did a speed workout on the treadmill at work to avoid running in the rain.

    Did some planks 'n' stuff afterwards.

      Dehydration can take several days to fully recover from. Good job getting something in while still less than 100%!

      Ouch - take care of yourself and I hope you are fully recovered soon! Too much sun = bad! (In my case that is about 20 minutes!)

    Fun intro to Boot Camp with my fellow Girls on the Run coaches. I LOVE WORKING OUT WITH STRANGERS. It's such a fun way to bond immediately.

      THEN - and this was new to me - we got a partner and some huge elastic bands. One partner would put the band around her waist and run across the gym while the other partner held the band back to give resistance to the runner. That was really cool - we did it forwards, backwards and sideways. We ended with a Tabata set of ab exercises. Two excercises: 1 for 20 seconds, 10 seconds rest, 2nd excercise for 20 seconds - repeat for 4 minutes. Very cool and I. AM. SORE!!

    More walking again to recover from this cold (or at least keep it at bay). Slow wanders with the dog are really nice after work, so I'm not complaining

    Was planning on a 5 - 6 mile run today but woke up with the sore throat that's been plaguing my husband all week. Opted for a walk instead to get the legs moving but let the lungs rest.

    Great run in downtown Manchester with the running club. I got there a few minutes late but had seen where the group ran, so I caught up with them and got in some quick miles before a few beers.

    Legs still felt tired from running a race saturday and a long run sunday. The dog took 2 pitstops, I didn't mind waiting.

    Ran the Cinco de Mayo 5k course with a mile buffer on each end with some members of the running club. Great brunch afterwards - such a fun way to cap off the weekend!

    Great race overall - starts with a "moo" every year which is hilarious. Hilly and windy at times, but I kept my pace quick and finished strong.

    Record number of runners showed up for our weekly club run. Blue and Yellow outfits and ribbons filled the streets of Manchester!
