      Don't stress! A few bad runs won't ruin your program. You are doing what is right and will get it figured out in plenty of time!!

      Oh no, no no no no NO!!! I HATE this for you. I know how frustrating it is to have to cut a run short because of pain. BOO! Like everyone else said, you did the right thing, and it sounds like you're taking the right steps to take care of yourself. Hope all goes well with the PT and chiro, def keep us posted. So happy you guys have each other for support on these long runs...would be a hard thing to do alone! Hang in there! :)

      Ice, stretch, foam roll, anti-inflammatory. This is what helped my bursitis (hip, but essentially the top of the IT band). Also, keep your runs flat, treadmill is good too. I know that's not ideal for long runs. Cross train on the elliptical too. I hope you get some answers and it's better soon.

      I am with Cathy. 2 missed 800's are not going to screw you at all. I am not sure who was more tortured today....you doing 800 repeats in the rain or me doing 800 repeats on the mill. and I had 8! you rock sister! I totally would have bagged it! :)
