    Ran the Beat the Blerch virtual race with a group of Milwaukeeans along the lakefront in Cudahy today. Alyssa F. and I ran 8 together. It was a lot of fun!

    Got out shortly after 8am this morning. The weather was beautiful, but it sure was windy! I ran to the New Berlin Recreational Trail. I felt good overall.

    Took me a while to feel warmed up today... my left calf was super tight. About 2.5 miles in I felt good and it was pretty smooth sailing.

    It's been hard to run with Oscar lately, now that he learned how to lift his leg. He now wants to "mark his territory" on every other tree! It's still fun to run with my buddy.

      Nice work. I don't know if this will work for Oscar, but for Jake, when he wants to stop while we're running, I give a slight tug on his leash and say, "Work". He finally got it. I do make sure to walk him and let him have his sniff-n-pee time, too.

      Good to know! I use the prong collar for his walks and runs, so maybe a good tug or two will stop him from doing that during our runs. And I have learned that one word commands work best. One of these times I'm going to trip over him because he abruptly cuts in front of me and bolts toward trees! Thank you for the tip!
