decided to drive somewhere new to run. My neighborhood is so boring and tedious. I went to a park thinking they had a path that would be good to run. Turned out that the path was very short (.2 mil... read more

Well, I decided the night before that I was going to do this. I signed up for it a few months ago but stopped running in the last few weeks. My goal was just to run the race, and not care what time... read more
Ran two miles, then got super sick (felt like I was going to throw up or pass out). Waited till it went away, which takes about 15-20 minutes. Then I ran a mile, walked a few minutes, ran a mile, ... read more

Good advice here to get outside and make it a fun one! New music from jog.fm? A new park or route? A new buddy along to run or bike with you? Good luck!

Ran outside. Nice day for a run, not too hot - not too cold. Ran without music, which was relaxing.

Thanks for the add! The warmer weather just takes some acclimation. We went from below freezing to 75+ in a week. It affects everyone, no matter what your pace is. Stick with it and you should adjust. :-)

yeah- best to stay indoors from now on.

Actually, it's not. Not trying to be too critical here, but if you've got a 10K coming up soon, you should really want to start acclimating yourself to the outdoor conditions. You have the right idea, knowing you need to be outside, but try limiting your indoor running, especially if it's going to be warm. Don't wanna shock your system.
