Got in a 4+ mile run this morning. Chilly start! About 60 degrees, sun in & out, slight wind. Had the roads to myself at 6:30 a.m. Shins were still a tad sore from Thursday's 7-mile run, so I just kept the pace slow and steady. Next week I will get in some speed work, sprints up hills. I haven't charged up a good hill in a month! Next time.
I love running on late spring mornings like today. Soon we will all be running in the July & August heat with our tongues hanging out, so a day like today is definitely sweet and very much appreciated.

Thanks, Glenn! Unfortunately I aggravated my shins a bit, guess I must have overdid it lately. My shins are my Achilles heel. I'm taking a break from running, icing, compression, giving myself the old RICE treatment, see if it helps. Hope you're doing well! :-)
