      Thank you so much, all. I am 95% sure that the stomach issues were caused by bad gel. I prefer to take gel from 8oz flasks, which means I need to open up the packets in advance. The gel that I brought to G.A.C. had been sitting in flasks since Zion, and I am pretty sure it went bad while baking in my drop bags (unused open gel typically has to be refrigerated immediately). My stomach issues ceased as soon as I switched from gel to PocketFuel...

      The mileage is even more embarrassing if you take into account the fact that these gym runs are sandwiched between a lifting session. I just can't bring myself to record little 1 mile runs as separate entries!
