I see kids do that all the time. Helmet wear being mandatory for under 18, they ride with the helmet off until they get close to school, then they put it on before the monitors at the school can ding them for riding without a helmet. Once clear of school in the afternoon it comes off again. Don't know why an adult would ride with it on the bars. Perhaps it was not fitting right, or he was too hot?

My coach sent me this link this week - He says I put too much strain on my shoulders from not having enough bend in my elbow during the stroke ...... I ordered the DVD

I rotate my hips and shoulders well enough, but I've got plenty of dead spots in my stroke. The other one I'm guilty of is not having any kick to compliment my stroke.
