  1. RUN
HAFB west and north. 6.2 mi 00:54 08:40 pace

Good pace for a Friday afternoon. The best I've felt on a 10k training run in several weeks.

  2. RUN
    HAFB West 3.1 mi 00:25 08:11 pace

I was very happy with this pace. Still recovering, but feeling much better.

  3. RUN
    HAFB West 3.1 mi 00:26 08:32 pace

Decided to take another easy week to recover from multiple marathons.

  4. RUN
NAS North Island 3.1 mi 00:27 08:39 pace

Still recovering from marathon. Pace was okay for conditions.

  5. RUN
NAS North Island 3.1 mi 00:27 08:49 pace

I was hoping to run faster at sea level, but I was still recovering from the marathon. I didn't run any faster than I would at home (4200 ft elevation).

  6. RUN
St George Marathon 26.33 mi 04:25 10:03 pace

I was hoping to finish under 4:20; however, I forgot how tough the hills were the first half. I was happy that I ran faster on the second half, and finished strong.

  7. RUN
    HAFB West 3.1 mi 00:27 08:41 pace

I started slow, again, but finished at a good pace. Next run is the St. George Marathon, on Saturday.

You are a machine! A friend of the family from Layton (Debbie Madsen Maughan) is also running St. George. I think it is her 5 or 6th marathon. She has run about the same plans as you this year! Good luck and be safe!

  8. RUN
    HAFB West 3.1 mi 00:28 08:57 pace

Short run before a marathon Saturday. I started slow. I've had swelling on my right knee, and I think that's slowing me down.

  9. RUN
    South Weber 6.2 mi 00:55 08:54 pace

I was tight for the first 1.5 mi. I'm still not 100% recovered from the Big Cottonwood Marathon. First half was a little slow, but second half was a good pace.

  10. RUN
    HAFB West 3.5 mi 00:31 08:45 pace

Another run where I started slow, but did fine once I loosened up.

  11. RUN
HAFB North and West 6.2 mi 00:55 08:51 pace

I started a little bit slow, but pace was good once I loosened up a bit.

  12. RUN
    HAFB West 3.1 mi 00:27 08:48 pace

This was the first day I felt like running after the Big Cottonwood Marathon. I tried to maintain a reasonable pace, and continue my recovery.

  13. RUN
Big Cottonwood Marathon (Near... 26.3 mi 04:17 09:46 pace

Challenging but good marathon. I set an old man PR. I ran my first marathon in 1996, on a fast course, and this was my best marathon time since then. This course was fast, due to a lot of downhi... read more

Old man or not...look at you still going strong after all these years. I graduated Patrol School in 1996. I hope I'm still going strong when I've been running as long as you. Nice job L.

  16. RUN
Classic Race 10K, Layton, UT. 6.25 mi 00:53 08:27 pace

This 10K went well. I'm running a marathon next week, so I didn't want to run too hard. I was hoping for a time under 54:00. I was right on track at the halfway point, and then ran a l... read more

    Run went as expected.

  19. RUN
    South Weber 14 mi 02:19 09:53 pace

Run went well for the first 10 miles. However, there was a steady slight uphill section from miles 10-11, and a headwind, and I had to take some walking breaks to finish.
